James B. Hanigan, D.D.S., M.S., P.C.
Dr. Hanigan has completed a general dentistry residency as well as an orthodontic residency. He practiced as a general dentist for five years prior to specializing in orthodontics.
Dr. Hanigan received a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio- Dental Branch. He completed his general dentistry residency in the United States Air Force and received his Masters of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Hanigan is a decorated veteran of the USAF, a Texas Merit Scholarship recipient, a National Institute of Health Research Fellow and Honors graduate from the UTHSC San Antonio Dental School. He is also a founding member and benefactor of the Magnolia Education Foundation. Dr. Hanigan is actively involved in his church and enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
